Early Childhood Music & Movement Classes

A MUSIC TOGETHER® CLASS is a small group of families sitting in a circle on the floor creating an active music making experience with their children, lead by a teacher with early childhood and music skills. Each class has ritual features including the "Hello" song, an instrument play-along, lullaby and "Goodbye" song. Eight to ten other musical experiences featuring percussion instrument play, free movement dances and lots of new and traditional songs complete the weekly experience. The teacher helps the adults understand how to participate and value music fun with their child. Each child develops at his or her own level in a non-competitive, non-performance environment. The research-based program extends beyond the studio, as each semester families receive a songbook and two CD's of music children love.
